Our Medical Imaging business area provides a complete image management solution for securely capturing, storing and sharing medical images.

As our Technical Specialist you will [be responsible for installing and configuring complex software solutions at customer sites and ensure they are running smoothly. You will also deliver 2^nd and 3^rd line technical support to customers and super users at the hospitals. You will work in close collaboration with our operations and development team to contribute to improved products. Additionally, you will be a key person in developing and improving installation and maintenance processes.

As our Technical Specialist you will:

• Install and configure complex software systems in accordance with client specifications
• Be the technical expert of the specific Medical Imaging solutions
• Handle incoming 2^nd and 3^rd line support requests from customer IT departments, healthcare providers and system administrators
• Troubleshoot and proactively drive issue resolution of technical issues related to software installation and configuration
• Conduct root-cause analysis for service interruption and establish preventive measures
• Coordinate with other members of the team to resolve technical issues
• Have solid understanding of MS SQL Servers (be able to run and write Select, Update and Join queries)
• Be the technical expert in upgrades and new installation projects and e.g. suggest optimal solution architectures and setups
• Translate customer needs into technical solutions and implementations
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures and documentation

Your matching strengths for our role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of experience in software installations and configurations
• Experience in installing and configuring complex software systems (Windows and Windows servers)
• Solid scripting skills (SQL, powershell)
• Strong skills in issue tracing at network and OS level
• Dedicated team player with a clear customer-oriented mindset
• A strong "Can-do”-attitude, fearless, proactive and driven
• Passionate about solving issues and helping others
• Excellent in communicating in English and Swedish/Norwegian/Danish
• Passionate about innovation and working on meaningful projects

Would be great, but not mandatory, if you have:

• Knowledge in installation and configuration on Linux servers
• Experience from regulated industries such as HealthCare
• Knowledge about centralised monitoring and automatic alerts
• Knowledge of Cassandra database (NoSQL) installation, backup, and recovery
